English for Health Workers 9: English for Allied Health Staff

Laboratory, pharmacy, imaging, physiotherapy and nutrition staff meet many patients every day. Clear, kind English helps patients feel safe and helps the team work well. In this course you practise the English you need to collect and label samples, explain waiting times, explain a medicine label, prepare patients for an X-ray or a scan, give exercise instructions, and give simple food advice and work with the clinical team. With real audio for every word, phrase and dialogue, plus drills, role-plays and checks. Take after the four foundation courses.
